2006 E91 330d faults and bad running help
2006
Manual 168000 miles Never any problems starting and the stuttering / misfiring is intermittent Car started stuttering at lower revs and cut out a couple of times at traffic lights. There were various fault codes including fuel rail pressure sensor and fuel filter. Changed fuel filter. Car ran perfectly for 80 miles and then stuttered a couple of times and then started doing it more regularly again. Seems to do it a lot when I'm going around a fast turn (from m25 to m11 for instance). Scanned for faults again and got 4B90 - Rail pressure monitoring on engine start 3F31 - Rail pressure sensor signal 4587 - Fuel filter cleared faults again and drove another 140 miles, again seemed fine for 50miles or so and then immediately started stuttering going from m25 - m11, IE a fast sweeping left hand bend at 60mph. Faults back on the car today are 3F31 - Rail pressure sensor signal 4587 - Fuel filter |
