This is my first post, I just purchased a used 2006 325xi with 80,000km.

After bringing it home and driving around for a bit, I noticed that my drivers side mirror does not auto dim. The Rearview mirror and passenger side work perfectly fine and auto dim at the same time.

(just to be clear, I have seen the drivers side mirror dim once before) 99% of the time however, only the rearview and passenger side will dim.


Does anyone know what could be causing this? Since the car is no longer under warranty, I would like to fix this myself.
