Anyone with Xi with a ssk?

Does anyone with the xi have a short shift kit? Just curious about what kits work for the xi

Be warned. I tried to follow that DIY and had no luck. I was not able to swap the shifter from above and even if I was I think it would have hit the transfer case. Migt be a 2011 problem though.

My main concern is if the body style matters. On the website to order the lever it just says e90 and I have an e92. I haven't seen anything about it on that thread though. It probably doesn't matter but I'd rather know for sure then be sorry.

I'm waiting for Ron at Autosolution's to make one for the e90 xDrive. Hopefully one of these days.

I changed my shifter on my e90 335xi LCI from above, a 10 mins ordeal. Just make sure you dont drop the pin, (id recommend buying an extra)

I used a shifter from a 330. It's only slightly shorter. Install was a pain. That circlip was crazy. I had to create my own "tools" (super glue and a wooden stick) to keep it from falling. Glad to hear others had less of an issue!

Did you use the 330i shifter too?
