I am in a similar boat. I had promised myself I was done, but alas, something else to consider.

Heck, I was even considering pulling off a couple of parts...

I'm curious on a similar note. The increased cylinder pressures will raise the EGT's but the timing advance would somewhat negate this. Has any EGT measurement been made? No need to supply actual figures, just relative if possible.

This will work with the older REV 1 pnp procede right? Just 2 options for map switching, stock and Meth maps right?
I have a 6AT and already own a BT scan tool to clear codes. Is there much benefit to getting a Canbus REVII procede? I know with 6MT's, it's totally worth it just for the boost drop fix but is it worth it in my case??

Theoretical yes. If one of the already used revI O/I's would be used for the meth. (like no speed delimiter) Is Shiv doing that? Not shure.

Badass! I love how Shiv keeps improving his already excellent products, a lot of after market companies make a product that sucks and then you have to annoy the shit out of them just to get them to fix it.

I guess it will be an easy fix ,but some other solution has to be found on cars produced after april
I'll take a look at a new car today at the dealership. I'm sure we can figure something out.

Shiv, would there be any problems with the meth possibly getting recirculated through the DV's or VTA on a BOV because the nozzle is before both in your setup?

Yes, it will be compatible with Rev.1. Functionally, it will work identically. But you wont have 3 non-meth maps to choose from. You'll only have Map1 (nonMeth) and Map4 (Meth). But each map will be fully customizable as always

Perhaps if you run pure meth but that is not advisable. Running a water mixture makes the meth non-flammable so venting some mist under the hood does no damage. But realistically, there is no need to vent to atmosphere although I did it myself for the last 6 moths with 3 bypass valves installed (2 Forge and 1 giant Tial). Since then, I've removed the Tial and recirculated the Forge back to the intake pipe.

But realistically there is no need to recirculate either. correct? Especially if there are no differences besides the woooosh. I for one have never been a fan of the BOV, but the 50mm Tial sounds incredible.

I'm leaving my computer in a few minutes (gasp!) to finish up the install in a customer car. Will use this opportunity to tweak the parts list for ease of installation. So I should have a final component list today which means pricing tomorrow. Or latest, Monday. Will have high res. installed pics by then too.

^ lol, nice one.

Shiv, so the only reason you went back to DVs is so you wouldn't have the noise? With fast shifting on the 6mt and your boost hold between shifts does the BOV/DV even open?
