I have found that many m3's won't race and when they do they shut down before 100 to avoid more embaresment.

The only "embarrasing" thing is you thinking your little 135 is in any way better than an M3.
Do you really think the M3 driver is wishing he had a 135

If I were an M3 owner then I'd be better off picking fights on the internet than pick them on the street. I like the M3, but it's not even worth it over the i-6tt. Hell even the Audi S4 went from a v8 to a FI 6 cylinder. I guarantee that the M3 is going the same route. Besides, the v8 is only 4.0 liter. If you want a real v8 and thump it over the internet, get something with at least 5 liters to make your argument for more displacement worth a damn.

I do.

Personally, I think the m3 is somewhat awkward looking, too heavy, and has a weak, sensitive engine.

The only "cool" thing about the M3 engine is the rev ability, which does not justify its price, not to mention is relatively lacking on the displacement side.

Now factor in the cost, the same build quality, and the mod "friendliness" of the 135i and you have a much better car for the money. A 135i with a LSD ($2000), tune ($600) and coil-overs ($1200) is an M3 killer in a cheaper, more attractive package, IMO.
