That intake alone makes the cabin sound mean with the windows up. Personally I'm not a fan now of the MMW muffler without the res delete. Sounds very plain and boring without that extra grunt. Just my .02

Sorry ;p I got a 6MT for only 2 months now and really have a hard time making buttersmooth 1-2 and sometimes 2-3 shifts. Anyway I havent made the videos for show; just wanted to share the sound I got with Craven's exhaust. It was a one take video with no pretentions ;p

With windows down, you can hear it more; but on the revving video, its really all exhaust sound. Drive-by videos are coming, I did those in a hurry last night before today's appointment. I hope they still give a good idea of what you get; except for the shifts ;p

Sounds good, doesn't sound much louder than stock. Not at all ricey or boomy. Is it really not much louder than stock or is it the limitation of the mic in the camera? Thanks for taking the time to install the muffler and share your results.

For the guys who have this muffler with the res delete, do you get that popping/gurgling sound?

Yes you can!
Craven's muffler mod is a suttle difference over stock. A little bit lower sounding, does not drone at all. (Not much louder than stock If you leave all the other exhaust components installed)

Where are the new videos? Need new ones with different setups to show and hear the difference. Many have gotten this muffler but with more vids to prove itself than I wou
D think more of us would buy this muffler including myself. No afe or injen intakes in new videos as we will hear more of the intake than the muffler itself. Much appreciated! |

craven, do you re do the piping inside? like some do on the m3? or is it just a matter of removing the insulation? Ive never even seen the inside of a n52 muffler. I guess what im trying to ask is whats the difference on the inside from stock and a PE?

The stock is bulky and very restrictive, so we fix that problem with new piping similar to the BMW PE but not exactly the same. So they wont sound the same as a PE will, its a different setup but very effective |
