Next meet location.

Hey guys, need some input on where we can have our next meet. I want to have it in an open area where we can actually take nice pics of our cars, without any law enforcement pushing us out or telling us to park in a spot. And also close to an open road where we can do some spirited driving, not racing.

Any ideas? Let's hear them. Hopefully, we can set one up for August.

HAWKS NEST!

a nice drive up past High Point Monument, through to the Hawks Nest, im sure theres also a place up there to meet along the river's edge....

i think Silas Condict Park in Kinnelon, NJ is good. its not too far and also its rather large. there is a huge parking lot and it doesnt get overcrowded.....if you take a look at point A, right before it is a long stretch of road that takes you to the park. on the way is a large parking lot where me and my nephew have taken pics and it overlooks the water. its a great spot. then further down there is a huge picnic area, plus water were you can take a paddle boat out

I like this idea! Still not sure which part of NJ it is.

With this meet, everyone can bring their own food and we can take pics and just chill. Plus, I like the paddle boats too!

Which route do you take to get there? GSP? NJ Turnpike?

sorry i forgot to include the link to the park...

the park it to the left by the large pond...the parking lot is pretty visible and never gets that full since there is closer parking down by the picnic area...

as you can see its a nice stretch of rd to get some video, even with people standing on the side of the rd and grabbing a group shot.

yea i really dont mind i was just suggesting a place....its off of Rt 23. for you Scott its easy, take 24 to 287N then get off rt 23 about 5 miles after the exit.

Lots of empty(at least they look empty from NY, westside highway) parking lots along the river by edge water NJ.

If you've never been to hawks nest, you should really go. I'm heading up there again as soon as i get my car back. A park is a nice place to chill and take pix, this is more of a fun place to drive.
