I would suggest Valencia BMW. I did the entire deal though the internet sales group. The internet salesman even lived in my area and drove me to the dealership when the car arrived. So no second car needed. He added carpets and wheel locks at no extra cost.
I had ordered the CD changer and the parts manager gave me a stainless BMW mug for the trip home. (His assistant made a pot of fresh coffee and filled it up.) Three days after I picked up the car a package arrived with four large speciality cookies from a local bakery with a thank you note from the salesmen.
This was the best car buying experience I've had.

BTW, I started with 7 internet sales dealerships. Three did not want to play, four played and two fought for my business. I sent each dealer an excel spreadsheet with the options and retail pricing. All they had to do was fill in my cost for each item. That gave me leverage line item by line item.

Even though I don't currently own a BMW I can for sure provide a little info through both personal experience and that of others.

Stay away from B.H., our ex V.P. got seriously screwed by them on his E38.

Bob Smith is the way to go, get in touch w/ Larry Shapiro, good man.

Well I have to say the the great experience I had at Shelly Bmw has been the best. I have gone through a couple of dealerships and all seem to give me a nudge or try to hustle me into a car. Over the past couple of year i hav gone througjh cars as well and none have compared. When i went down to see the cars the Salesman and I walk through all the cars and test drove like 5 diffrent ones( wasnt going to buy em but still wanted to drive em..lol), but still was coo with it. When we sat down to talk turkey was very polite and even gave me lunch and soda,,lol,,( I was tired and hungry)..well...sign the paper work and ordermy beauty..that day.! If you guys wanna check em out talk to Jay Chong,,hes a cool guy,!

I have purchased two vehicles from BMW of Riverside. A certified Pre-owned 1998 Z3 in 2000 and I just took delivery of a 2006 330i April 13th. I have always had exstreamly good service from Riverside. Their facility is first rate and there parts department folks are very knowlagable. If you just want to go in and ask questions they seem to always have time and never try to rush you out. My wife especily likes the Starbucks machine in the lobby. We had great buying exsperiences with both cars, back in 2000 and now just in the last two weeks. The new car sales staff are very patient and do not pressure you. We must have test drove every car on the lot over several months of trying to decide what options etc. as we as consuming it seems like gallions of Starbucks.
The only negitive thing we exsperienced during the whole purchasing process with our 330i was the finance girl, she was very impatient and was not knowlegable or was not being truthful about early payoff penalties and really got cranked up when we insited on reading all the fine print when she realised we didn't trust her answers to our questions. But you can't put them down for one bad apple. I would highly recomend BMW of Riverside to anyone.

I got mine at Rusnak in january for about $1500 over invoice...so im sure you could pull off $1000 at this point. Ask for a salesman named Jules - we even came to terms over the phone. Just make it certain that you'll be picking up the car asap if they're willing to negotiate over the phone. Also, feel free to specify exactly what you are looking for...Jules traded with Shelly BMW to get my car (he just needed a deposit of $1000). Hope this is helpful - good luck!

Just to give an alternative/option,

If you are in Southern California, contact David Boen at Assael BMW in Monrovia, Los Angeles, California.

HE is the top sales person at this dealer, very highly knowledable about BMW history and products, and a BMW fanatic himself. Good customer service, even people from Riverside comes to buy from him.

At every business, there is always good and bad people, sadly sometimes people rate the business as a whole, and it penalizes the good people.

I sent 2 e-mail's to Assael Bmw with no answer. So I just decided to skip that place all together.
