Original M-Sport vs BBS CH-R

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2009 E92 335i, and need to get a new set of wheels, specifically in a mesh design. Prefer as wide a stance as possible so 19x9 front 19x10 rear.

Have narrowed down to these 2 choices:

1) BBS CH-R
2) BMW M-Sport Style 359 (second-hand), taken of an E92 M3

Price for a set of 4 for the BBS is USD$2000, coz its on discount on a shop I'm going to. Price for the Style 359 is USD$1,100.

Firstly, what's the manufacturing process for BMW M-Sport wheels? Are they Gravity / Low Pressure / Double Chamber Pressure Cast? Or Flow Formed? I'd assume they're not forged, correct me if I'm wrong.

Secondly, among those who have used either of these wheels, could you share your experiences with how they compare to others?

My current wheels are 18 inches M Sport as well. Just wonder if the BBS, which is manufactured by a combination of cast and flow formed method would justify me paying almost double the price. Are the BBS actually much stronger than the M Sport?

Would appreciate all your advice.

Style 359 all the way if you have the money.

Not sure if they are made by BBS, 359 is flow-formed. (1/2 forged)

My 219M is made by BBS, Forged.

"Are the BBS actually much stronger than the M Sport?" No and Yes, it depends on which BBS you got or which M sport you are comparing it to.

Comparing on the flow formed BBS CH-R vs the M359 that came on an E92 M3. What would you reckon?
