Replaced DDE/No Cruise

Hi,
Replaced DDE, sent away to be matched to existing key and CAS, car operates fully except for cruise control. Understand Cruise and DSC is shared module? Company who matched DDE to CAS did not want to install my VIN to DDE after tow failed attempts previously.

Can I re-calibrate DSC to fix Cruise ( I have DIS/GT1 INPA etc)?

MANY Thanks in advance.

The DSC doesn't appear on the wiring diagram for cruise control, but i would say it would communicate with it via the pt-can. It does go directly through the junction box though so quite possibly a VIN mismatch issue. Are there any fault codes? Is your engine m57 or n57?

Probably a coding issue with the DME, cruise has a enable toggle within the DME that is set during flash. You could try flashing using WinKFP, that should pick up your correct VO and write accordingly.

Thanks both for the replies.

It is an M57 TU2 engine.

I had a loose security wheel bolt on shake down and now have a wheel torque error code that will not clear. I thought perhaps it and the cruise control error were related and could be fixed with a re-calibration of the DSC?

Just thought I would ask before I break it trying the re-flash.

Many Thanks.
