Coolant in oil?
It looks like oil has been spraying or leaking from the oil cap at the front of my engine. No codes, car runs fine. I pulled the cap off and saw white residue around the edge of it. Could this mean coolant in the oil? It looks like my ofhg might be in the beginning stages of deteriorating. Also if I’m guessing oil leaking from cap means something. Maybe bad Pcv?

If only these cars had a dipstick, you could take a look at it there and see if the oil still looks that same consistency at the pan. But it's not too uncommon to get a little of that water/oil mix at the oil cap when the weather is a bit colder. You could drain it and make sure it still looks like oil and not a milkshake if you wanna be extra sure.
And if the cap is leaking I'd start with a new cap and see if that fixes the leak. Could just be a worn seal and look into more if it continues to leak after that. |

I checked the coolant and it looked okay so hopefully that’s just what it is. Car had just been driven for the first time in a few days too.
As for the cap, you’re right. I’m still learning not to spend more on expensive parts when it could just be something simple |

That amount looks normal when its colder and car hasnt ran in a bit. Wipe it and check if it happens again

Pretty normal...
Oil leaking from around the cap is from the rubber seal flattening out over time. A little trick that helps it re-seal is to take the rubber o-ring out and flip it over. There won't be any indentations from sealing on that side. |
