$600 to paint and install rear bumper and sides
I dropped my car off earlier at the usual body shop i use and they charged me 600 to paint install my rear and sides. The body shop does great work and i didnt have a problem paying that.
Any comments on the price they gave me? What did you pay to do yours? |

Wow.. maybe its the area you live in but up here in the Boston/Providence area I would have gotten that done by one of the best shops around for about $350 maybe less.
I'm sure it looks amazing but the price just seems high to me. |

I think $600 is a great deal. If you know them well, I think you can try to get $100 off again. I got my front and sides done paint and installed for $500. The job was perfect too.

That price is about right. Here in NYC they charge about 250 for the bumper and about 125 per sideskirt.

paint and install
Quote:
I am thinking to put on the aero package for me E92. I've checked the installation and painting price over with Herb Chambers, Boston, they quoted me 2000. I have read your post, and believe you have a good deal on installation and painting, do you mind to share what are the best shops that you referred earlier? I would be more than appreciated! thanks, David |

Try Dick's Auto Body in Somerville or Perfection Autobody in Waltham

i tried over dick's auto. they said there works are better than BMW dealership, thus they are charging somewhere same price range with BMW dealership, which is around 2000 for entire kit. I wonder if it really worths that much for the paint and installation??
