So just picked up the car from Tim and Vince tuning team
Slight mishap after throwing a serpentine belt during a test run, but Vince soon fixed that up (thanks mate)... The tune is buttery smooth and pulls hard... I found myself muttering "holy shit" a couple of times on the way home lel. Could not be happier with the result and only needed 28 map revisions to get there hahaha thanks again guys So the final numbers are in 303 kw / 610 Nm 20 psi at 3500 rpm on 98 Actually got it to 309 kw / 663 Nm but Tim dialed it back to give some room for a safety margin.. legend (blue line = dyno from last week, red line = current tune) Last edited by Socket; 03-07-2018 at 04:11 AM.. |

Wished I could have driven it like this, with a few tweaks it picked up some good power everywhere vs how we left it after the dyno session. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying it too mate.

So whens it gunna go back onto the Nizpro dyno?
Would be good to compare it to my car that made approx 380rKw. On the 8th pull in the matter of 30min. Unfortunatly i was chatting to Simon from the first pull to the 7th pull and was only given the dyno papers of the 8th pull LMAO Maybe i was given the papers of the last pull (lowest numbers) to keep Tawf calm heaven forbid an Advan car made more power than a Nizpro car on there dyno lol Ill try dig up my dyno papers from Nizpro, the 380rKw could be wrong. I know that my car made just a fraction under tawfs car, i wonder why heheheh All this is harmless fun even though some people like Vince get cut, calm down boy. No shit all the stuff you make looks like an abortion, your not setup to pump out quality stuff on that $200 dollar lathe in your steel cap slippers. Stick to your day job mate, save yourself the embarrassment, keep patting yourself on the back. Good job Vince..... hahahah |

Just to put the facts straight because you don't have the slightest of clue... The most my car has ever made is 374 rwkw at Nizpro. In fact on the dyno day I made a little less at 364rwkw with the stock intake as oppose to tft style when it made 374 rwkw. In that case if you made 380 rwkw then YES your car, a Advan car made more. So I don't how you think Nizpro was fudging your numbers so that it made lower than mine lol. And that aside I am more interested in my trap speed indicating power than anything else. A dyno is a tool for tuning and you can't make comparisons for reasons everyone keeps highlighting. Everyone knows the Advan DD dyno reads high relative to mainline (and every other dyno ot there) so just accept that and move on. All this "400 + kw" club at Advan hypes are just over inflated numbers that cannot be replicated on dynos outside Advan so yeh everyone gets a little suspicious. My goal was to build a quick car that retained factory style setup with upgraded twins and the 6 speed ZF gearbox. I wanted to pull quick times on the 1/4 mile. Socks goal was different, poor guy went through 2 sets of aftermarket turbos so wants something reliable. Other guys want mild power increases but more handling enhancements for track use. This forum is a place to share experiences so others can learn if they have similar goals. P.S. it takes a lot more than someone making more power than me to make me upset bud. We are not primary school kids here lol. For the record if Nizpro actually wanted to build an n54 power plant that held record for power in Aus they easily could with the experience they have in building high hp cars that run 8s all day lol |

2) Are you seriously having a dig a Vince after all his given to the community? - Advice, DIY guides, accurate product reviews (based on first hand experience), support, coding, tuning ect ect. Where is your contribution? (besides these silly posts) you're the embarrassment not Vince... I guess it's not too bad hiding behind a keyboard. |

Tawf OR Socket couldn't give 2 f#(s what number they get on a dyno and it sounds like all three of you have completely different uses for your cars. For you I guess it's the highest dyno number in the D!ck measuring contest. Tawf likes to go really, really fast down the strip and still be able to take it to the shops when he wants. Socket loves having a responsive all-round package with everything right down to the audio sorted. Kudos to the latter two! Take your garbage elsewhere. Make your own dyno number thread. You must have no idea about N54 and aftermarket wastegate operation. Vince's actuator adaptor is absolutely spot-on. |

You feel like you don't fit in hey ? I have pity for people like you that make themselves feel better by putting others down. Clearly something has stunted your emotional development.
I hope you get the help you need and can start to make a positive contribution to society rather than a negative one.

Y'all stand back. I made 955wkw on Nizpro's dyno on the 237th pull in 55 degree heat while low on headlight fluid. That means I'm better than everyone else. My mum said so.
