Does anyone know if you can show what speed you are travelling at on the Navi screen. Handheld Gps units will show you the actual speed, does the car's gps do this. If so how do we get there.

you can display the car speed on the screen, using idrive. the option is under navigation and then something like "trip report"

i don't know whether the speed is calculated by the GPS or comes from the car's speedometer, though.

other standard GPS info too, such as current coordinates, altitude, estimated trip length and estimated time of arrival

I checked it out and my guess is that the idrive screen is showing speed based on GPS -- that's because it was slightly out of synch with the car's speedometer.

it is under trip computer -- and you need to reset it to show current speed.
