I have those Khumo Ectsa PS71's on mine, they're not bad either for low/mid range tyres... I had P-Zero's before but they wear pretty quick. Need to do the rears soon on mine so will pick up the Khumo's again and then once all 4 corners are worn I'll be looking at these during the summer - https://www.zestino.eu/en/gredge-07r...r%5B%5D=276821

www.oponeo.co.uk do very good prices with free delivery. I just paid 4 x £73 (£292) for Dunlop Winter Sport 3D run flats. Dealer wanted £154 each (fitted) which is a whopping £616.
Cost me an additional £20 for fitting and balancing locally for a total saving of £304 compared to dealers. These sites direct from manufacturers that cut out all the middlemen are definitely the way forward. I notice the cost of the tyres I got have increased slightly so obviously adjust with the £/€ exchange rate. |

Personal experience of the PS71....no but the supplying dealer of my e39 540I had fitted a new set of Khumos when I purchased the car & they were not good, always struggling for traction especially in the wet, changed them for PS2's within a month of buying the car.
So based on my own personal experience of Khumos & doing a little research on my favourite tyre review website I wouldn't fit them to my 35i. Link attached for any 'sheep' reading this https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...zoBYVVbiMvpT0b

I can only assume those that rave about the Uniroyal s have come from using budget tyres maybe. Unless I got unlucky with the set I had? |

So more of a touring tyre by the sounds of it. I can see it would be good for touring, it was a comfortable set of tyres having quite a soft sidewall. Mine did wear quite quickly, but that's probably the trade off for decent wet grip at a reasonable cost.

yup,,thats why cornering is a bit more progressive than say goodyear eagle or any hard sidewall tyre,, but you still have to be wreckless to take the uniroyals past their grip levels
