Work T1S Polished Lip no longer polished!

Hello,

I recently had my rear rims refinished due to a minor incident with a curb.

Now, when i recieved them back at first glance it looked good. But after one wash, it looked hugely differenent from my rims that weren't refinished. They didn't have the mirror like reflective finish. at a closer look it was scratched too hell from just one wash?! if you stand further, the refinished rims always look darker when both are dirty....

I was told this was normal......is it?! have people refinished polished lip rims before and what was the result?

I wil have pictures this weekend after I give teh car a wash.

Use blue magic metal polish on all the lips. It should even out.

Garage List
I did extensive research and emailed work and all work rims lip is polished anodized with a clearcoat finish. I'm not sure how bad is your clearcoat damaged at this moment. You should try regular polish on your lip like how you did on your paint. If your clearcoat is completely damaged and gone then you may proceed on using nevr dull, blue magic or mothers mag polish.
