index 12 injector coding

so I went from index 4 to index 12 so the new values are on the paper. Now when I inserted the new values on INPA it didn't let me insert it 100% exact it would change the . Values, now would that affect the performance? My car runs lean I believe and kicks me out of every map on jb4
The new values are in the cardboard and they're inserted into INPA
Can't upload pics with my phone but it looks like this:

New injector 1 values: 577/226 and when I inserted it to INPA it changed itself to 57.7/2.25 and so on all other 5 changed themselves by decimals
Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

That's correct there will be a 0.02 variance with some of the values when successfully saved.

.02 on all of them? Because some of them have all the way up to .5 difference?

Hmm, I don't think thats right. I heard of the DME saving it also as .05 but not .5 difference. Try recoding again but do them one at a time per save.

My bad I just double checked and it doesn't exceed a .02 difference .. do you think dirty carbonized valves cause cause an N54 to run lean and can potentially kick me out of jb4 maps?

IDK, I'm not into the JB4. you may have gotten a bad batch of injectors and it is possible if your valves do get caked up they can aggravate missfires.

Your gonna need someone who is good in reading JB4 logs to see if your injectors are leaking or perhaps where not installed right ie missing rings or couplers.

Just to be clear each bank must have the same matching index. You cannot mismatch index on a bank

I understand .. I installed injectors myself and there all index 12, decouplers are installed, they don't move, and they don't wet my spark plugs and I'm really leaning towards valve cleaning my car has 95k and doubt it's ever been done , I've had it since 67k I believe..
