BMW of Towson
Awesome guys to work with. They took care of my cracked seat sensor mat and air bag faults through good will. Granted I referred 3 customers who paid off their cars with cash, they are still, truly, unbelievable. My tech is Kris, and he always takes care of me.
Should anyone in the area need any service work, BMW of Towson is the way to go. I give them an A+++ every single time I go in, and I hope everyone else had the same experience there. |

I would have to give them a thumbs up also. My SA is Bill and he is a pretty easy going dude. I dropped my car off 2 months ago to get my starter checked out, granted it took 2 trips for them to finally hear what I was talking about, they took care of the problem immediatley.
I just dropped the car off yesterday to get my HVA's checked out, along with some interior pieces peeling, hoping to get a good phone call today. |

I'm still balancing whether I should continue with Bel Air or Towson. There seems to more positives directed to Bel Air but Towson (the more local choice) did do a quick replacement of my HPFP.

will,
didn't know you lost a HPFP. some said the fix is now in w/ a new part #. guess time will tell. do you use any fuel additives, like Lucas Octane Boost, that lubes the petrol? i have added it to every other tank for the past 2 years. have not read any post on someone using a fuel lube, but losing their HPFP anyway. GL w/ yours. i know it's local to me, and i have never visited Towson, but i just feel Joe and Company at Bel Air go the extra mile to please. Towson may have the same philosophy since they both are owned by the same. Last edited by Spydeputy; 05-07-2010 at 05:51 AM.. |

Recieved my car back yesterday. They replaced 90% of my issues. They were not able to hear the slight knock/tap I was having in the engine (HVA's starting to act up) but I guess its not loud enough yet to be considered anything bad. They told me when I run out of warranty and it starts to become a problem, they would most certainly work with me and good will it if BMW approves.
Things they replaced with no hassle: Headunit since the original one had a dim screen, license plate light because the original was cracked, rear console since it was peeling, side driver pocket due to peeling, and lubed door hinges since some were squeeling. I requested they took a look at my headlight since there was a dead spider stuck in there, and I had slight condensation during a recent huge rainstorm, but they were not able to replicate the condensation. Im pretty sure they won't be able to replicate it, but I asked if I can just purchase a headlight casing and they replace it. SA said he will give me some options (hoping discounted labor/parts). Also, I requested no car wash, and they did just that (some dealerships often ignore this part and run it through their shitty car wash). |

Dave, I had the HPFP replaced a few months ago at around 1800 miles. Additives have never be used. Since I switched from BP to Shell I haven't had issues but I'm sure that it'll eventually get the replacement and the software. Let's hope it endures the OBX drive next Saturday.

Terry may not know the subtle nuances of each model but he's honest. When I asked about the HPFP, he asked another rep (that apparently is no longer with the team according to the website). The other guy said that, to his knowledge, it had been resolved. I knew differently but it was funny hearing from the horse itself.

BMW of Towson service is good but I prefer the slow-paced environment of Bel Air.
