AS tire package

Any of you XI guys know of a good vendor who offers 19" VMR reps with AS tires on them. Any of you running this setup already? Will it work to put 19" AS on an Xi??

Thanks!

The General UHP's are officially AS, but they are painful in snow. They are great in wet.

I have been contemplating the same thing and have been aggressively shopping around for 19" all season tires. Unfortunately, they're really expensive but they're out there. Toyo Proxes 4 seem to be a popular choice. I'd check with EuropeanAutoSource or PYSpeed and ask for pricing on a wheel/tire combo. It'll probably put you at about $2 grand.

Whatever tire you end up with, avoid the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S like the plague. I had them and they howled as they wore, eventually worked with Goodyear direct to get them swapped out for alternatives.

If you want something really good in 19" for all-season, I'd recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Normally I'd be against paying Michelin's inflated prices, but in this case they're worth it.
