Money Shifted my E91 N52 going from 3rd to 4th, but instead, went into second at higher RPMS. I do believe I heard a weird noise under the hood and the engine lost power. When I coasted into a gas station I pulled the engine cap off and a small amount of white smoke was coming out of the top. The car has 125k miles on it and was running perfectly until I made this mistake. Towed it to my shop and currently have the valve cover off the engine. I have two codes right now:

P0370: Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A
P0016: Crankshaft Position Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A

I tested the pressure on all cylinders and I am getting over 100 on all of them. The chain is still tight and in place with no broken guides. I have tested both camshaft sensors on the front of the engine and they are functioning correctly. I still need to test the crankshaft sensor. I am doing a leak down test tomorrow.
