The pins that you pull are just bits of alloy, not steel and not important. They may just deform as they are just bits of rubbish. Then camber away. I have no idea why every one doesnt do things like that. Free banishment of understeer. I get about 1.2 out of mine. No M3 wishbones or camber plates or gold plated guide supports just a 13mm spanner.

Well I might well get the B14 kit myself now.

Would it still be recommended to do M3 control arms and bigger roll bars also?

control arms are £300
Roll bars £230

B14 £567

------------
£1097

Euro is probably going to get a bit weaker against the pound with BOE talking about interest rates going up next year.

So tempting!
I think I'll do these mods. Just a case of when...

Does anyone know the part number for the B12 kit to suit a LCI E91 325d?

Happy with my rear ride height, but the front end needs to come down a little. The car is an M Sport, so my understanding is it will maintain the rear ride height & lower the front?

The B12 kit sounds ideal for the job!

Seriously considering the B12 pro-kit... at 72k miles now and shocks are probably more than 40% worn... planning on changing them early next year when I hit 100k miles. Springs look a bit rusty but in great condition with no cracks or anything of the sort.

I put a B12 pro kit on my E91 SE pre-LCI. Totally transformed the handling! A lot less body roll and it doesn't wallow on corners anymore. The steering is much sharper and the understeer has gone. Basically the car goes where you want it to now

What is the ride quality like with the B12 or 14 kit? Is it a much harder ride?

+1 for the above and what's the ride height like? I personally would be after the same(ish) height as say the Eibach Pro Kit

Thanks,

I have looked and ideally I'd like to get the B12 Sportline Kit as I'd like the car to be a little lower now I've had my wheels fitted.

Does anyone know why the B12 Sportline Kit is not listed for the E91 325d?

The part number for the B12 Sportline Kit to fit a E91 320d is: 46-180742

However, as I say, only the B12 Pro Kit is listed for the 325d, which is part no: 46-180599

I'm guessing I could buy the B12 sportline for the 320d E91 and fit to my 325d - what would be the consequences?

Isnt the sport line kit like -50mm or something? Couple that with fitting 2.0d springs on a 3.0d car (heavier) and I'd think it would be very low. I don't think its just spring rates to consider, you might find the springs are different lengths also, to cater for the weight differences.

True, I think maybe its best to stick to the B12 Pro Kit, as the springs are correct for the model.

I will also get some of the SupremePower Lowering Spring Perches too, which add another 10-15mm on the front end. :

Using the springs from a different model was actually something I explored a while back, I reckon using the pro kit from the 320d might get you the desired results.

See some discussion here..

What are people's opinions between the 12 And 14 pro kits?
