I basically went down this list contacting companies till I found the best deal:

The company I found had a offer of €1450 but it seems to have gone back up to €1600: http://www.sportauspuff-billiger.de/

Got the thumbs up from the Westfield stewards on the way out and I am sure theyll have us back any time.

Looking forward to seeing the pics Seb! Thanks for being the resident paparazzi this evening.

And Josh, thanks for organising! I'll try to get the photos up by the end of the week, I just had two very late nights at work at a conference. Hopefully will get some time to do them either tomorrow or Friday

Really enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting new faces

So I just had a chance to download the photos from my camera, and I'm really disappointed with how they came out. The lighting was quite poor really and my DSLR which usually never fails me seems to have done a rather poor job. They are going to need significant editing to get to an acceptable standard, I won't have time to do that until at least this weekend. But I didn't want to leave you hanging for too long so here is a fresh off the card, unedited sample:

Name: Capture.JPG
Views: 401
Size: 100.9 KB

Will edit the others and upload as soon as I get a chance

PS: if anyone is worried about their number plate showing on the photos I can edit them out but please let me know in advance as I haven't got time to do them all on all of the photos.

Okay, finally got a second, so here they are. I'm not a good photographer and this environment was really challenging. Still - at least we have evidence it happened!!

Looking nice boys!

@K11XXY - im trying to figure out why your wheels look so much better than my LM reps, im guessing its because they're NOT LM reps or they have been painted a more reflective silver?

I believe Josh's wheels are SSR Professor MS1, I'm sure he will confirm. Hope you haven't offended him by comparing them to LM Reps

Haha hopefully not! You must admit the design is very very similar in fact are they not based on original LMs? Im due a refurb, the colour code on those bad boys would be much appreciated

Unfortunately it is true. It is in operation both ways on the A40

All those years ago i was tempted to go down the LM Reps route, but everyone told me how they will never compare in quality and finish. AND THIS IS VERY TRUE as you can see from the pictures. My wheels hadn't been cleaned in over a 2 weeks, filthy and still looked better than a fresh set of reps.

But i guess you get the quality when you pay 5X more for some genuine rims.

You just cannot compare reps to genuine 3 piece rims at the end of the day.

They are finished with shadow chrome faces and polished lips. I got them done at VoodooMotorsport by Eli. He is awesome!

Not for a short while.
Maybe another at the same location closer to December may happen. I'll keep you all posted.
It is a good location in winter as you're protected from the elements.

Design is similar... and pleas don't quote me on it but i think the SSR MS1 Professor maybe older. Remember SSR invented the 3 piece wheel and it is one of the oldest rims...please correct me if I am wrong.

But anyway, lots of rims look like LMs... all rim manufacturers have a similar design as it does look good on almost all cars! But like i said above... the finish of a rep just can never be compared to a 2 or 3 piece rim.

Not sure on colour code.... Just ask for a shadow chrome finish matey

Pics are ok Seb, took me ages with the SLR to get my head around the basics, its so damn difficult but the best thing you can do is play around with the various setting shotthe same shot(which I did)then compare your results, some will be a dogs dinner some will be thre or thereabouts and that how, at least I learnt

I tried! I left it on auto though, I don't know much about photography. A tripod would have helped though, many of them were blurred

You learn through your results Seb, as long as you know where errors have been made you can move forward, I've got a tripod but bloody hate the time it takes to set the damn thing up and lugging it around, paid a few hundred quid for it so it wasn't cheap but its substantual, I'm no photo guru mind, but I found a monopod is more flexable when you've got to do things on the hoof so to speak might be worth buying one to see how you get on one things for sure you'll get steadier shots

Sounds like a good idea Steve. I'll get one for next time. Hope to see you there too!
