Might do it just for the free BMW first aid kit. Seems kinda pointless tho. Do you think BMW techs will approve of my EverStart Battery?

Depends on your dealership, I guess. I'd personally be fine taking my car to my dealership for this even if I don't get the first aid kit (though it'd be nice to have).

Otherwise, as long as you got your car there (dealer policies may vary), you may at least get a free car wash, right?

In my case, the battery diagnostic probably wouldn't hurt since the one in my car is about 6 years old (though I've heard of plenty going longer).

Yes, a waterless wipe-down by Captain Swirl. Took me a while to recover from my last dealership "complimentary wash", and that was after I had specifically told them NOT to wash my car because they always swirl it.

True, not all washes are created equal. Some dealerships are worse than others. I've always been satisfied with mine though, haven't noticed any swirls when I've gotten my car back from the dealership at least and the car is always clean on the outside and vacuumed inside.

Granted, I don't pay as much attention to the cleanliness of the outside of my car nearly as much as I do to the health of what's under the hood :P. I mostly just need a wash to get the dirt off of it and the underbody rinsed. Part of this attitude could be from living in the northern midwest where keeping the car's exterior clean is a constant uphill battle with road salt/sand everywhere.
