Yup, a lot of this is just luck. Especially with how few of these there are. I don't doubt that I'll find the right one eventually, just a lil bummed that this one wasn't it. I'm just going to be ready to move fast when I find it...

That’s how I was with my red one. I wanted red and since I’m doing an engine swap on it I didn’t care on the trans.

Absolutely! If push comes to shove on the whole "me not having a car right now" thing, I'll be in touch for sure. I'm going to sit tight and hope the right LCI comes up for the moment though.

Seller is completely nuts. Got 3 pictures of the rebuild (far away, grainy). Asked for more details, and got told that he won't say anything more unless its in-person. No wonder it hasn't sold. Either something is incredibly fishy with the rebuild, or this guy just isn't serious about selling. I'd steer clear personally.

I've dropped my price to $14,500 on my rust-free, 89K mile 2007 328iT ZSP 6MT. Really thought this thing would be gone fairly quickly (most of you seemed to agree), but apparently not!

Make me an offer! Worst I can say is no. Would like to get this thing moved onto a new home in the next week or less. This is a GREAT car and really wish I could keep it long-term, but alas- life happens sometimes.

Seems to be asking BaT prices on a car that appears a bit rough. Mechanically it may be fine, but the cosmetics gotta back it up for that price for me.

I see body damage, mismatched headlights (accident?), broken interior bits, soft touch peeling, 130k miles, and minimal service records (although the oil leak trifecta has been done).

Ask is definitely too high. I also got underbody pics of it, its missing underbody panels. Seller seemed firm on price, didn't want to consider anything not starting with a 20.
