Dumb question - Can I fit small wheels?

So I'm not to sure. You can fit a small wheel no problem right? I plan on using some spare 17x7 ET 47 BMW wheels all around. Part number 36 11 6 757 042.

While we are at it, what would be recommended winter tire size?

you will need spacers in the front. I would test fit to see if the caliper clears as well.

If I put the wheel on the car while the car is jacked up and turns freely should be good?

you will need spacers to truly check proper fitment. I would say 12mm spacers are needed.

No but like if for example the wheel is on the car and it spins freely doesn't that mean it's ok? Like suspension won't affect the hub to caliper position after I lower the car right?

chances are you wont be able to bolt the wheel to the car without spacers. So seeing if they will fit and clear the fender lines is going to be hard.

Ok.

I'll test fit them and see how they fit.

Kind of funny I'm going to buy spacers probably to fit a wheel like this

Yeah I just tried and it doesn't fit all the way seated on the hub.

So how should I determine to how much MM spacer I need?
