Got a quote yesterday at the dealer where my car is for CBU cleaning.
My car is at almost 62,000 miles and apparently this is the only option for me as far as extended warranty is concerned.
It's good for 3yr/36k miles.

It does not cover CBU clean up, but covers injectors, SCR, turbos, transmission and a few other things.

Any input? Good deal, not so good?

What is the remainder of your emissions warranty in california?
You emissions items are covered separately for a longer time.

Chances of injectors failing at this point are pretty small. Personally I'd pass and roll the dice with 2600$. You can get a lof of stuff fixed for that...

In CA it goes to 7yr/70k, so almost 8,000 more miles for me.

I just had the injectors replaced less than 1500 miles ago or so.

So that injector job will have its own warranty. Im not sure how long but i would imagine a year or two.

It was covered by the emission warranty (7yr/70k). I would imagine there is a labor warranty involved there too.

Contact jeff at passport and see if he can do anything for you. I know youre out but i think he maybe able to come up with something.
