Performance 335 Diffuser Colour

Afternoon guys.

Just after a few opinions please doing an exhaust conversion on my alpine white e91 and I've just received my performance diffuser for it,

The question is do I keep it black / paint it anthracite like my current sport plus diffuser..
Or paint it alpine white to match the car ??

Here are some pictures..

All opinions welcomed please

Think you should paint part of it body colour, like the first picture. Makes it stand out more. But its really personal opinion.

Love it in body colour Shorty! But opinion is very split, lots of people prefer it black. I've done mine in body colour and love it

I'm going colour coded for mine which will be painted soon enough. My aero one at the moment is just black but think it loses the lines a little.

Thanks for the replies guys, the general consensus at the minute says AW then, if I were to keep it dark I think I'd go anthracite like my sport plus diffuser colour then there would be a slight difference in the black trims to the main panel being anthracite I'd leave the 3 little top pieces on the top and the central lower matte black, as with the alpine white I'd leave the rest black too,

Waiting on a few more opinions as I'm finding it very hard myself to decide

Have you seen one in the flesh in body colour?

As always photos don't convey how good this looks in real life.

I constantly find myself stopping and looking at the rear of the car now. Best mod I've ever done!

I've seen one in the flesh yes but only one, it was body coloured and looked good just don't know what would look better the white or a stealthy dark colour I don't know if body coloured looks aftermarket if you catch my drift?

100% go bodycolour on the difusser Shorty, as Calluhan's stated opinions will be split on this but to my eyes looks more the part being body coloured and it looks factory too like this M4 we had in the other day

Yes it's 99% white from the people I've asked!

Thanks for the input Steve, I'm thinking of sending it in to my painter and just saying paint it white before I change my mind

Has anyone got a link to where I can buy one of these diffusers that are not made from fibreglass? Been searching all over and can't source them

I bought mine from:
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E92-E93-...=1365305188005

It's an ABS plastic part. Very good quality and an excellent fit. It required zero fettling to fit, simply clipped and bolted in place of the old diffuser. I primed and painted it myself.

Cheers mate I did see your link from your thread. I sent them a email and they have discontinued stocking them so you was lucky to get one of the last ones lol. All I can find now fibreglass ones which I definitely don't want. I have even tried alixepress with no luck lol

Well think I've decided on alpine white eventually!

Another thing to mention, the two plastic trims from either end to cover some holes aren't included and I just got the price through at £74 for these alone!! Not a chance I was paying that so back to the drawing board and making something up to fit, I've attached a picture of the trim I'm talking about its designed to sit in the area and cover the holes

Strange that. The one I have comes with vinyl that matches the centre trim to cover those parts either side. I've got no holes. Mine is exactly the same as the oem bmw parts which also comes with the vinyl trim pieces.

So yours is a little different.

Excellent choice on colour by the way
