BMW 313 ET Question

Hi Guys

TIFU by buying wrong wheels for my car. My car is 2013 E92 xdrive.
So a guy listed 313 wheels claiming they were on 335i and I took his word for it without checking the ET on the rims and bought them as they were $550.

So I bought E82 rims with following when I checked with part number

18 x 7.5j ET 49 ( tires on them 225 40 18 )
18 x 8.5J ET 52 ( tires on them 245 35 18 )

Now if I check what is right for E92 its the following.

18 x 8J ET34 ( and sticker on my car say default is 225 40 18 )
18 x 8.5J ET37 ( and sticker on my car say default is 255 35 18 )

My Question is can I still install these with 15mm spacers as its a positive offset on rims i bought, will they be fine.
have anyone done this before, will there be any problem with this.
I would like the below setup.

18 x 7.5j ET 49 (tires i want to install 235 40 18) max a 7.5j can take
18 x 8.5J ET 52 (tires i want to install 255 35 18)

Thanks in advance.

Well I went ahead and installed the rims on my car.

I used the offset calculator below to check what this offset will look like.
https://jr-wheels.com/et-calculator

I had 225/40/18 square setup installed on my car with ET35 rims.

So I went to a shop which had some time available to access my situation.
He told me lets just try putting the existing tires on the rims and see how it turns out and looks as 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 both can take the 225/40/28 tires without problems.
So when we installed both ET49 and ET52 rims, he was able to mount them without a problem and no rubbing inside. The rear rims had around 10-12mm space between the rim and the shock absorber, but the front only had around 5-7mm.
I drove the car for 5-6 km I didn't feel any difference other then the steering was a bit lighter, may be cause of the lighter wheels in the front as old rims were replicas and way more heavier.

But I installed 15mm spacer all around so to have more space in between the tires and shock absorbers and it looks same like as before with ET35 rims and not too flushed in.
I have driven the car for around 200-250 kms, Till now I haven't felt any vibrations, or any difference in handling but time will tell about how much wear and tear this will do.

Thank you.
