Power folding mirrors pre lci
Just after a quick answer to whether or not you can code powerfolding mirrors using carly? I'm looking to buy the mirrors and switch but want to see if I can save the hassle of getting them coded by someone's else if I can do it myself using carly.

Yeah but I'm just wanting to know if I could do that myself with my Carly coding app since my laptop came down with a sudden case of being thrown at a wall and has never been replaced

yeh,,i have just anual folding,,would hate it if it was on lock buttone,,anyway how lazy must you have to be to not press a little buton while getting out,,also my new car 335d has angel eye drl,,i am going to switch them off also,,whats the point of driving around with lights on in daylight,,fair enough if your on 2 wheels but a car,,its just waste of electricity,,alternator has to work harder and in turn more fuellok it is miniscule but add all the cars up in the world and its probably killed 3 polar bears ha ha ha

Thanks for the answer. Just ordered my mirrors. The main reason I'm wanting them is I've had 2 driver side mirrors smashed off while the cars been parked up I fold then I'm manually every day (when I remember) so having them auto fold when locking the car would save me the hassle of sitting in working wondering if I remembered to fold then in that morning

I have mine programmed so you have to double press and hold the lock button for them to fold in, that way if its just a quick trip a single lock wont fold the mirrors in

I used Carly to programme mine so I have to press and hold the lock button for 0.5 of a second. There are several options for how you want them to fold when you lock the car. I find 0.5 seconds ideal as I can leave them out if desired but only half a second is next to nowt if I do want them folded.
