I think we all always feel there is less performance out of any part we put on our cars. We just expect more from every product, I was the same way with my coils I did on my super charged honda

You're right. I think I would need more suspension upgrades to actually get the total handling improvement. Btw, I have 9.5 +18 in the rear, and I rub slightly on bad bumps. I just bought an Eastwood fender finisher handheld tool, because I heard those actually work for rolling our rear fenders. We will see how that goes. I'm going to just try it in a corner first to make sure it doesn't look warped. Got it for $30, so it's worth a try.

I'm looking at doing a 9.5 +28 front and 11 +25 rear fitment soon, so I need to roll the fenders anyway. It'll be great if this handheld tool works for me. I'm prob gonna stop by Discount Tire where I buy all my tires and see if they do fender rolling.

I think you will need a heat gun to roll the fenders with the tool.

Yup, makes sense. It does indeed look like there's a metal core based on the photo.

I'm guessing it's to avoid corrosion on those pieces.

Will post a full review this week and prob have to wait till next week for pictures, cause this week is crazy busy.

Initial Thoughts:
- I'm initially set at Front 25" (fender apex to ground) clearance, Rear 25.5" clearance. I like slight rake.
- Rides way smoother than stock ZSP.
- Not harsh at all on bumps.
- A tad jumpy on bad roads but better than ZSP.
- Handling improvement is noticeable but not as much of an improvement as I thought, but then again these are pretty soft.
- I'm happy with the setup!
Nice feedback. I will post pics here as well once mine are installed. I want to drop it and roll my fenders as well before deciding what size spacers I really want to use.

Lowest price I can find locally to roll my fenders is $150/fender. Seems like a total rip-off, so I'm just going to try it myself. At that price, I might as well buy the Eastwood fender roller, but I'm going to try the smaller tool first.

Not sure how beefy the fenders, but I used a wooden bat and a heat gun on my accord.

Is it just me or does that seem hard to do on these fenders? My fenders are pretty flat already (Idk if this is normal for the E90), but it seems like it'd be difficult to use a bat or mallet on these rear fenders.

Well...given that it's a BMW, I wouldn't use something like that. When its time to roll mine, I will use an actual fender roller..LoL

I bought Eastwood Fender Finisher tool and I tried to use that and a heat gun. I put a ton of pressure on the tool and did exactly what it said, and it didn't do a thing. It was quoted as not being strong enough for rear fenders, but I thought I would give it a whirl since our fenders come partially rolled from the factory. I think I may just rent the Fender Roller and try it some weekend with a friend. Reason I wanna roll the fenders anyway is because I want to run a 9.5/11 setup.

If the KW V1 fits an XI, then these would too, because they're valved the same. Idk for a fact if the V1 fits the XI, but there might be a XI version.

With respect to xi fitment, I recently purchased a 2007 328xi sedan which has ST coilovers fitted. The part number is 133 20 326 and the product number is FAR556. The designation under the ST Suspensions label on the right front strut is 200 1020R. The ride/handling compromise suits me on our frost-heaved and pot-holed roads. I would not want any stiffer springs for a daily driver/inter-city car. The car is currently set very low, but I have no rubbing issues with 225/40-18 snow tires.
