There really isn't a need to "worry" about CV axles/boots on an E91 with the N52. Yes it can happen, but it is not a routine item most of the time. You aren't really pushing a lot of power. The only issue would be if you lowered the car drastically, then it might be an issue. Keyword = might.

My '07 AWD M/T had 175k when it was totaled. Still had the original oil pan seal (which "seeped" starting at 101k), original thermostat and water pump, original CVs, original clutch... It surprised me how little maintenance it ever actually needed. The original battery went 11 years.
Didn't even need a suspension refresh until 155k or so.

The '09 AWD A/T I drive now with 105k has all those original parts too.
Both winter-driven e91s
Well said, a lot of times there aren't huge issues with the N52 version of these vehicles. Water pump is more of a N54 issue than N52. Glad to hear you got another to replace it! I own an AWD E91 as well up here in Michigan. Love to daily it, especially in the harsh winters (which feels like 5-6 months out of the year).

Decent price and low mileage if anyone is open to pre-LCI XDrive with 2 pedals.

This person thinks a 2009 sport/premium/comfort package 328I E91 6spd with 86k is only worth 12-13k.

Either a trader or dreamer.

You had a higher valuation than me! 2012 E91 6speed, sport XI, non I drive with 94k, Bmw performance exhaust, intake and aero bumper, skirts, rear bumper.

"10-12k"

Not that it was for sale anyway but yeah, was good motivation to keep it and update the wheels and tires

What size/type are your wheels and tires ?

I'm looking for another set to snaz my wagon up a tad as she's currently on stock wheels.

How do the 9's sit squared, do the fronts stick out at all ? Any rubbing and are you using spacers ?

Trying to figure out what will work best as the xdrive is sensitive and hence limited w/what I can do.

Appreciate the response.

I think they fit perfect. Fronts don't stick out. I removed the pins in the upper strut mounts to max out neg camber.

No spacers.

I also modified the front spindles (removed lower lip) to drop the strut further into it to level the ride height.

What finish are those wheels? I'm decided on the style, but waffling between Brushed Clear and Race Silver.

They are hyper silver. ^ I don't see the colors you mentioned on their site.

I figured out why... I'm looking at the ARC-8Rs - so Race Silver seems to be the equivalent. Thanks for the info, now I know which way to go!

Seems to be a very fair price in this market. If I hadn't just bought a different wagon I would be quite interested. Good luck with the sale.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! Market is really crazy so wasn't sure how to price but I think this is pretty fair for what it is!

Jesus, that seems outlandish. I feel like for that result I should have bought some of the junk 535's I've found, done a complete detail and cosmetic refurb and I'd be in the money.

I guess this puts it into perspective. I recently found a 172k mile example and the person is asking $15k, to which I spit out my coffee, sent link to buddy, who did the same thing.

That said I still go back and check the ad now and then telling myself not to email the seller...
