Rear Tire PSI for Drags
Just wondering if anyone reduces their rear tire psi for drag racing. I was told by one person that it wouldn't do any good because the tires are so low profile already that the sidewalls are ultra stiff and won't benefit from a lower pressure.
I'm running the stock pressure in P265-30R19 Michelin PS2 non-RFTs and having serious trouble driving it off the line in 1st gear. Best run is 13.22@108.12 with DSC off and no traction in 1st gear with a poor 2.194 60' time. |

Additionally, how you warm them up and the fact that 19" rims push the weight to extremities, isn't going to help things regarding acceleration. Roy |
