Selling my 2011 335i M-Sport RWD 6 speed manual Black Sapphire Metallic over Chestnut Brown Dakota leather (looks more like a brick red) due to life changes and needing an SUV. This is my daily so mileage will go up slightly however, due to covid I do not drive it much.

Clean California Title

I purchased the vehicle two years ago, it now has just under 104k. This vehicle is in great condition and since I never planned on selling it so I have taken extremely good care of it and put lots car into keeping it healthy, have receipts for over 20k in maintenance and repairs. Shortly after my purchase, the engine dropped an exhaust valve and I had a new motor and turbo installed by BMW which I have receipts for. The mileage on the new engine is around 64k turbo is close to 10k. Car is on Michelin Pilot Sport 4s

Recent Maintenance

Two Bent Wheels Replaced at 90,606 - $1,205.18
Diff/Trans Service, Fluid Change and Clutch Replaced at 90,948 - $1,944.10
Engine and Turbo Replaced at 93,398 - $10,733.92
Water Pump/Thermostat Replaced at 96,754 - $1,172.88
Alignment/Tire Balance and Subframe Repair at 99,130 - $748.94
Oil Change and Filter at 101,000 - $150
Vacuum Pump Replaced at 101,000 - $2,006.92
Driveshaft Replaced at 101,000 - $2,596.21
Starter Replaced at 103,409 - $670.00
Coolant Tank Replaced and System Flush at 103,909 - $273.50

Total Repair and Maintenance - $21,501.65

The only bad is that Oil Pan Gasket has a slight weep. I haven't done it yet is because BMW have said it is a non-issue at this point and oil level has not gone down in 5 months since the last change.

That’s correct, no heated seats. We’re you able to view the album through the link? Just want to make sure it works.

GLWS! This spec is very hard to come by, was only made for one year with the N55.

Bump for the seller and a beautiful e90. I saw and drove the car right around new year's. Car is tight, quiet, and in beautiful shape. If I could stretch my budget a few K more it would be mine. I want to emphasize that it really is stupid nice. Feels like it has maybe 30k miles. I'm still drooling over it. GLWS

Can you elaborate on the following repairs? These seem non-typical for the platform and it might help put buyers at ease explaining what caused the damage and how extensive it was.

Quote:
Subframe Repair at 99,130 - $748.94
Driveshaft Replaced at 101,000 - $2,596.21

The driveshaft u-joint was bad, as you know they are non serviceable. BMW had zero in stock, I had to have BMW manufacture a brand new one and ship it over from Germany. In regards to the subframe, the control arm was loose and essentially started sawing into the eye on the subframe overtime resulting in some play between the control arm and subframe. I discovered this while trying to track down the vibration caused by the bad u-joint on the driveshaft. It was repaired by a highly skilled aluminum welder at Performance Alignment in Cincinnati, OH before my move to California. Performance alignment did all suspension/balancing/and alignment work on the vehicle.

The car is tight and has been inspected by BMW dealers and master techs and is in good health.

There were no symptoms prior. Had the vehicle inspected BMW before I took a drive down to Florida and they said everything was great. I was on my way home on the freeway in Alabama and the vehicle lost power, entered limp mode and idled rough. I got towed to the nearest dealer, who initially diagnosed as a misfire, later they informed that the engine dropped an exhaust valve and cracked the block while munching it up.

I have pictures from the swap if you’re interested.

They sourced a used engine which had about 55k on it at the time. Turbo was brand new.

Thanks for the information. With the above said and all the repairs done correctly by BMW, why are you selling?

Any time. Never planned on selling it really, hence all the work, part of me still doesn’t want to haha. But I really don’t have the space or need for three vehicles and I’m looking at some Landcruiser’s for ski and camping trips.
