I mean that sounds/looks right. But do you have a shallow trunk storage bin to allow clearance for both mufflers?
You'll have to move the evap cannister too...
Hmm. I'm sure it'll take a lil more than just chop and weld to fit em perfectly, but make sure you take the length of both setups into account...
I think it'll be fine.

if you want it quiet then leave the resonator, i personally like my x pipe and the burbles, i would get rid of it, and don't forget about evap bracket off of 335i, you need that as well

Thanks for the advice GRTZilla - yeah i do not want too loud ,as most of the times i am with the kids and dont want to disturb their comfort.
I was thinking - i am getting the exhaust from a friend but its from E92 will be there any issues to install ot on E90 ..i think e92 and e90 have differences in the middle section right?

I didn't thought of that bracket - do you have a part id for the same?

Here's the evap bracket
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/16136768644/
I would honestly measure his exhaust where he cut it off and would measure under your car, depending how far you want the tips to stick out. The only difference as I know is e92 335i tips on stock muffler are slightly longer than e90 335i muffler.
To be honest even with performance mod the exhaust is very quiet in the cabin, I roll down my window to listen to it and the burbles . With windows up its really quiet for me. Outside is a different situation. Cruising with one speed you can't hear the exhaust at all, so police never suspects anything

I'm trying to put the part list together right now. This is based on having an LCI M-sport 328i.

Dual Exhaust Rear Valance (51128043897)/
Another option is the 335is rear valance insert, but that will need to be painted:
Dual Exahust Rear Valance (335is) (51122158792)/
Dual Exhaust Rear Valance Insert (335is) (51122158793)/

Trunk Storage Compartment (51717123486)/
Charcoal Canister Bracket (16136768644)/
Heat Insulation - Left (51487138485)/
Heat Insulation - Right (51487138486)/
Rear Splash Guard - Right (51757164292)/
Rear Splash Guard - Left (51757164291)/

The exhaust mounts I am not 100% sure of, but I believe these are the parts:
Rubber Hangers (x4) (18207590154)/
Exhaust Bracket - Right (18207571004)/
Exhaust Bracket - Left (18207571003)/
Exhaust Hanger Bracket - Right (18207571006)/
Exhaust Hanger Bracket - Left (18207571005)/

I checked to see if the mounting points are present but I couldn't find them on my car. Its possible the driver's-side mount points are the same, but I don't know where the passenger's side mounts would actually attach to the car frame. I'll have to look again later.

335i rear rebar - TBD

335i used muffler, modified or not

Last edited by tom.gnade; 07-27-2017 at 08:46 AM.. Reason: added rubber hangers
