Valve cover gasket replacement 2011 328i

How do I remove the metal bars that go diagonal over the upper part of the engine? In the video I’m watching he loosens the part circled in red but on my car there is no hole to access that screw/bolt. There’s a circle above that looks like it may be a cap but it doesn’t seem to come off. Am I just not taking it off properly?

There is a big Ex Torx bolt under the cover. Look at this link:
