Started making a couple of manifolds.
I finished making a stock manifold but I wasnt happy with the space for a dump pipe.

I ended up leaving it and starting a manifold on a rb flange.

I am trying to fit a 4 inch dump pipe so I spent the day mocking up the manifold and turbo and dump pipe.

The 4 inch pipe may need a dent in it to fit. It will still have the best chance of limiting exhaust back pressure but I'll keep trying. Maybe a few pie cuts might get it to fit cleanly.

A couple of photos of mocked up manifold, 7675 turbo and 4 inch dump pipe.

I also bought a 6466 gen2 t4 divided to try.

I have often wondered how much you could lift the drivers side of the engine without anything fouling. A small spacer between the drivers side engine mount and engine bracket would give you more room beside the engine but your turbo would than foul on the hood I guess. Just a thought.

It fits without changing engine mount but you need too install dump pipe before installing tje turbo and you have to remove the 2 steering rack bolts.

The 4 inch V band is the hard bit to fit through. I made the dump pipe as far ad I could before it wouldnt physically fit back in. Then I kept putting the V band in a place that you can actually do it up and make it fit in and out of the car. This took around 30hours to make the dump pipe. Cutti g pie cuts by hand with a grinder is a joke takes hours and hours of cutting and fitting joins nicely.

photos.

The flange was from Australia, car mods Australia.
Disputed it on there site. They sent a generic email saying covid delays. But they must not of had the stock in the first place. I dont think its right to advertise a product you dont even have.

Thanks for the update Brule. You are certainly having plenty of dramas getting these manifold nuts. Hopefully, the nuts from the UK turn up in February.

Got it going just for you coupes.

Started thismorning removing manifold studs. 2 were stripped so it took 1hour or so to get them out. 1 i just put loktite on and the other with v8ce grips and a 6mm ring spanner forcefully.

Once they were out all new studs and single turbo and exhaust on and started it. Its been sitting for 2 months or so with e85 but it started instantly.

video of start up with 4 inch straight pipe exhaust.
Cartidge not in jyst to blow out anything in the manifold and rear housing.

Great to see you got it running Brule. I would have thought the exhaust might have been quite loud but it didn't sound too bad.
