Exclamation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014

Yeah... I'm watching it, WHAT? I'm an 80's kid (and still love me some 80's!)
The movie actually looks very well done with tons of eye candy. Did I mention Meagan Fox?

at one time, my kids watched TMNT and TMNT Secret of the Ooze for 5 straight weeks....

then he grew up a little bit more and is no longer interested in TMNT...

he's big into Mortal Kombat right now.....TMNT has taken a backseat....

Off topic: Transformers 4 was terribly long and Mark Wahlberg is a crappy actor.

I know, and I walked into the movie with low expectations knowing it would be bad, but just not THAT bad. I also thought he could have brought something different to the movie, but nope. Same old Boston accent/machismo.

Ever since I was a kid, I have been facinated with anything that had to do with either Ninja or Samurai. TMNT was no exception. Definitely looking forward to see if the martial art research they did for this movie can hold the title "Ninja".

The current TMNT series on Nick right now is pretty solid as well. I believe any TMNT fan would enjoy the Nick series if you haven't given it a try yet.

with having a 7 year old son, I have watched every episode of every season so far...

at first I was like "eh, it's different - do not like", but after watching the first two episodes, I was hooked....

I "believe" my son now has 22 action figures in his collection....

for the last several months he stopped wanting them, because again, he's getting older and not caring for them...

there's 7 or 8 action figures he hasn't gotten because they were recently released....

You too, huh?

The current TMNT action figures is what is keeping my kid going strong in school. He has been collecting the figures one at a time on a monthly basis as long as he keeps the good grades coming in! lol.

I'm trying to teach him that in order to get the things you want, you gotta earn them through hard work and detemination.

One month last year he hit a snag at school, and when I teasingly asked him what happened, he pleaded his case so well that I couldn't deny him his toy for that month. lol

LOL!!

I have been away for work recently, so while catching up on my favorite BMW forum, I recently became aware that pictures of Lito's wife has been a hot topic since I've been away...

I love TMNT and will definitely see it, but the trailers aren't giving me any warm & fuzzy feelings.

Maybe the low expectations will help when I do see it
