Some advice on modified car insurance
Hi guys,
I’m looking at a car for sale which is modified, wheels, remap, induction kit, lowering springs etc. What companies are people using to insure their modified cars please? Want to get a decent price! Thank you. |

Statefarm here. Decent price, not sure, but the service is and always has been impeccable. Small disclaimer to that is that my father is my agent! Lol

adrian flux here, I've got maximum no claims never had a claim or accident and i'm 55 got a 330d remapped with lowered suspension and a few other changes and most insurance company's wouldn't insure me or were asking silly money, never had any problems before with modified cars they just don't seem to like bmw's

Adrian Flux, Greenlight are good for mods although no need to mention the remap or induction kit and lowering plus different size wheels aint no biggie either so would just meerkat it - but thats my personal choice and ofc slight risk on my part of an overly zealous insurance company actually inspecting a car when a claim comes in

Try Sterling as well. That is who i used for my 335d and were very competitive.
