Keeping this from my wife...

I am coming here for solace and reassurance. I have been accused, and rightly so, of obsessing about my new car. The order went in the beginning of June and I finally fly out to Vancouver next weekend to pick it up (my bro takes delivery too)

I want you all to be honest. When it got to be a week out, did you dream about driving your car....and I mean literally dream? I'm thinking I better see a shrink as this is all just a bit much...

Maybe someone could make a poll....don't know how.

Ha ha ha ha

I had lots of real "sleep" dreams about my car the night I ordered it! My dreams are always a little strange, but I distinctly remember driving the 3-er in lots of situations while sleeping. I'll bet you're really excited. They say wanting is better than having, and in a way, I wish I was still as pumped up as I was during the anticipation and waiting period. But I'll admit, sitting in the driver's seat of the E90 is about as close as it gets! :rocks:

HAH. You bet!! I had to wait about 5 weeks for mine, and I think I know where you're coming from.

Obsessive they say, about you? Hmmmmm. Well around here I think "obsessive" would be defined a bit differently than elsewhere

I say enjoy the feeling, enjoy the car when you get it.

Best wishes, Zip

I am a wife, and I dreamt about my E90 while waiting for it. Maybe your wife is dreaming about it too?

My husband calls my E90 my "boyfriend".

Whew!! Feel better already. It is also good to hear a lady has similar dreams. There really is comfort in numbers!

I feel your pain. I ordered mine on Aug 8th. I can't tell you how many times I've read the brochure, or how often I check this site.

Waiting sucks!

My wife is mad because I memorized my VIN but I can't remember her birthday, our anniversary or our phone number.

I had my car for a week now and I dream about it still. Its the perfect car for someone in my age; maybe a little too much!

I only had to wait 2 days for my car....it was being shipped from another dealer.....and man, it was the longest 2 days. But I killed time by hanging out with you guys(e90post.com)....and other BMW sites trying to learn as much as I could about the car.

My wife says that I spend more time with my car(including e90post.com) than her and the kids combine.........I thought the obsession would only be a few days......then weeks.....and now months........is there a cure?

The only way I could explain this craving and urge is to another man that attended university for the first time, realized he was on his own and seeing how many beautiful women there are in the big wide world!

I was a wreck by the time I took delivery of my car. Then it got WORSE. I just wanted to drive it and I still do. I feel so proud just climbing in, then once I start driving, it is the BEST!!!!

We e90 people have to be a little crazy - about our cars!!!

I don't even own one and won't for a couple of years, but I am obsessed with the car and frequent the bimmer forums to gather as much info on them as I can. When I read how excited people are to get their cars and the thrill they get driving them, it gets my adrenaline going and makes me wonder how I'll feel when I get mine. There are many times I hope to myself that I don't get killed(seriously) before I own one. Is that crazy or what. I know waiting a couple of years sucks but I'm sure once I order the car that will be the toughest wait. Oh well, to those of you who own one enjoy, and to those like me, I feel your pain.

I am obsessed but I don't dream about it.

My mind comes up with better dreams than just driving a car. LOL
