Aggressive Offset and Stretched Tire, *E92*

I know that not many people are into the whole aggressive offset/ stretched tire deal. Its definatly not for the weak hearted. But I was just curious if there are any of you E92 owners out there running any aggressive setups? Im a current 350z owner, getting ready to purchase a 335i so any help would be great.

Ive done a bit of searching and its looking like a 19x10 +18 or so is about what Im looking to run in the rear.... Has anyone ran a 10.5 with good offset? I want just a bit of poke, nothing too crazy.

Thanks guys.

19x10 +18 on E92 your going to need to run negative camber, roll fender, and run a 255 or 245 tire to clear plus no drop. G/L Like to see pics when done.

Sorry buddy, that is deff NOT going to work on your E92. The most aggressive I have seen on a E92 is ET25 with 10" wide 19 inch wheels. That was also pushing it because the E92 coupe has less fender clearance than a E90 sedan. I have some really nice LM-R reps in 19x10 rear ET25 for your car. You will deff need major fender work and negative camber for sure with streched out tires.
Let me know if you need some help.

Really? Thats it? Well I guess that gives me a different set of guidlines then...

How does that sit with the fenders when slammed? Is it somewhat flush, or have a bit of poke or what? I dont mind doing fender work, probably roll and pull them quite a bit, most likely a full roll.

Could you post some pics of that setup so I can see? Not doubting your knowlage, I just know alot of people that have said something wont work, but with the right camber and stretch, if can work.

Riceburner was running 19x10 on his E92 with BBS CH. I don't recall the offset, but it was either +22 or +20. It was my understanding it rubbed, and he had a lot of negative camber. That particular wheel will also rub on the E90, which has slightly more space under the rear wheel well. I'm running VS-XX 19x10 +26 rear with 265-30-19 on the sedan.

I'm maxed out on what I consider to be acceptable camber. I have had it lower in the rear without rubbing, but the camber wear on the tires is unacceptable. The E92 would have to have a slightly less aggressive lip to fit.

Check out this guy's E92 thread:

i'm running 285x25x20 et 22 (before the shave) i'll be posting pics. i gotta get this to work lol. and i cant run a stretched tire unless i buy new tires for the front as well because my car is an Xi and it'll mess up my tranny otherwise.

i'll keep you guys posted in the next week

To the OP, also keep in mind that the E92's front fenders are plastic so you aren't going to be able to roll them.

I'm also running 19x10 et35's with 265's in the rear with rolled fenders... its nothing extreme like those 350z's are running though...

I can't find any good side shots for you, sorry...

my friend did a 8.5 F 10 R and +25 for rear, but he didn't need to do negative camber but i think his offset is one of the nicest/ aggressive in this forum.. and probably more to what you want, because my cousin's G35 did a very aggressive on the car too, and he told me this is the style how G35/350z owner want ...
hope this help..

Let me know if you need some help.

Going from e90 to e92, I didn't realize the advantage those rear fenders on e90 sedan give you for aggressive setup.

I tried the aggressive setup on my e92, which looks great, and definitely gives it much needed width to its stance.
But I didn't want any major fender work to make my aggressive setup work, so just average fender rolling and negative camber wasn't enough. So I had rubbing issues. I also couldn't drop it beyond a certain height, before rubbing became absurd.
I was running 19x9.5 et23 rear with 265 general tires.

I gave up and tried a fatter tucked in look and I'm pretty happy with it.
I am now running 19x10 et37 with 275s with the car set pretty low with fender rolling from previous setup.

I wasn't a fan of the slammed look, but the wide rear wheels and fat 275s, in my opinion, would only look good with a low look.

I like the way it turned out. It gave the car a mean look altogether.

Ask me if I still go to sleep dreaming of ways to get that aggressive stance with low offsets that you are looking for, and my answer is yes.

That's why i'm subscribing to this thread to learn a few things myself.

I have a set of Work T1S on 19x10 +25 and I have some rubbing w/ my 265/30/19 but only on dips/bumps and its only rubbing the inner fender liner in the rear. I still want to roll fenders just for extra clearance just in case. Anybody know how to clear fender liners?? I touched my fender liners and you can clearly tell somethings been rubbing up into them lol...

comming from a little bit of the "bippu" style of the JDM cars, I think that you could definitely pull off the 10+20 with maybe 255 tires for the stretched look.

Of course, this is totally a different route; I only mention this coz you said you wouldn't mind the roll and pull... It could be a fun project.

No problem... I bought them from another member on this site. I'm not sure where he bought them from since I think they were discontinued.

Your wheels look great , but that's strange that you had rubbing issues with the smaller tires since the overall offset on a 9.5" et23 and a 10" et35 are almost identical.
