DP to Mid-pipe Leak

Has anyone had to double gasket the DP to mid-pipe connection to get it to seal? The flanges are hitting and I still have a slight exhaust leak... Is there a thicker gasket out there? I have cp-e DPs for what it's worth

Are you reusing the gaskets or are these brand new?

Are the flanges aligned perfectly? That is the first connection you should align. Then, tighten the turbo-to-DP V-band clamps and everything else.

Yeah, they look completely flush... Just can't get them to seal completely. I brought the car to a shop and they said that they couldn't make it any tighter either...

Buy a 2nd set of gaskets, might help close up that gap between the pipes

I have a leak on one of my dps currently as well. I figured it was a bad gasket...perhaps I need to double gasket mine as well to complete the seal. tightening didn't work for me either.
