Just go with the Magnaflow muffler if you want a more subdued sound. If you want noise then just go without a muffler.

I'd go with the 3.8 black tips, skip the CF on a 328. It may be too loud right now but I feel like even if you left the muffler delete and just added the piping + tips, that extra few feet of piping will bring down the volume a bit.

NO! PLEASE KEEP THE MUFFLER ON. I just got my muffler chopped off with my dual set up and holy drone! The muffler will be going back on soon haha I'm thinking of doing the muffler where the res used to be and hoping that will give it a bit more umph due to the straight pipes from there on out but also take care of the drone.

There is actually more room on the sedan. Not only is it longer, but the storage compartment is smaller.

actually once you do the muffler delete and run a pipe to the right side of the car, this makes the sound of the car become quiet. I have muffler delete with 333 rear conversion and once i ran the extra pipe to the right of the car, i noticed that the sound became less aggressive but i like it.

I recently did this exact conversion. I used a Magnaflow muffler, Dimisa 4" tips, and retained the stock resonator. I personally like the sound with this set up. The tone is deep and is a bit louder than stock at acceleration but does not drone. While I was relocating the evap canister, one side of the exhaust was ran first and the other was left as a down-turned pipe and the drown was ridiculous.

FWIW i used the magnaflow muffler and it sounded really good. Sound on start up was great, low rpm's even better and as the 6 rev'd up the sound of the motor took over. Overall very happy with a $140 muffler... Dimisa tips look clean, check out the dry carbon

Not necessarily. Look on ebay for tip options. There are some nice double walled tips that are only 4 inches long. Thats what I used and they do not stick out too far at all.

I can conform this is true. I have the muffler delete as well, kept the resonator, and when the pipe were added, the sound was significantly quieter.

pics of the undercarriage? how did you relocate the evap canister?

Don't have any pics of the undercarriage currently. The evap canister was moved behind the center of the bumper. I then took the connection heads off the original tubing and attached them to sections of PEX pipe and spliced those into the original hoses. The wiring was just spliced into and extended, and the canister itself was bolted into the storage compartment.

I decided to keep the OEM muffler because in the end I really dont like cabin noise and theres very very minimal performance gains from aftermarket options. Now I can still enjoy my logic 7

Not sure, my diffuser is taking forever to ship so I have some lci tails coming in the mean time. As soon as the diffuser is here I'll get the bumper ordered. Hopefully done by August.
