MARS E90 LCI Headlights for $600 Shipped?

Just stumbled upon these. These guys have been known for their Pre-LCI to LCI "Redline" tail lights for a few years. But it appears that they've now ventured out into a whole line of lighting for the E90. Very curious on the quality of these LCI style headlights (obviously no AHL). But they look pretty impressive from what the images show.

They are not OEM, never will be. But a compelling option for pre-LCI guys not wanting to shell out $2k for OEM LCI headlights.

Thoughts?

I'd have to see them on a car, those lopsided rings are kinda weird

the rings are a interpretation of the new AEs on the LCI F30. Also, $600 gets you halogen projectors. looks like another$200 to get HIDs. I think the black housing version looks great!

Why do aftermarket manufactures have to make the headlights look so over the top? Why can't they make a more OEM type headlight. The E36 glass ellipsoid was perfect from an aftermarket stand point. It's been downhill since.

I'm normally really against non-OEM headlights but I've been looking a pics of these next to LCI's/OSS LCI's and it looks like they've done a really impressive job. Anyone want to be the guinea pig and tell us about the build quality??

it actually looks pretty good. I would buy a set and swap out the angel eyes with full dtm ones. I like the fact that it comes with the LED turn signal modules.

Agreed, I think this is what they were going for with the 3D AE's... (Below images NOT of the MARS headlights)

Add in the shipping and you're looking at just under $600 to your door. I emailed them for pics on the cutoff beam quality. Looks like these are brand new to them, so they're still getting photos.

I normally don't like aftermarket stuff either but if I had to buy some new headlights tomorrow due to a minor accident, I'd buy those dark ones. I think they look pretty good and could pass for factory issue to a casual observer.

These look good, but how's the quality? In my experiences, the quality of aftermarket lights suck when it comes to E90's.

And here they are next to a set of OSS LCI's...

THAT is the question. Until we have a guinea pig we won't know. Only reference point we do have is that MARS is known for their LCI style tails for the Pre-LCI's and I've never heard a complaint about them. Then again... They serve much less crucial of a role than headlights.

Wow, I was debating getting the DTM upgrade to my OEMs but shipping them away to the states to get the job done is what's holding me back. These seem like a great alternative... especially when you consider you get to keep stock.

DEPO will be the best option for something close to OEM. Here is one of their pre-lci headlights you can get.

The only thing that scares me is the stories I've heard with these aftermarket headlights and condensation.

Back to the topic: I like the headlights but the rings look kinda funky

Y'all might like this too. More OEM looking.

Damn, those lights look pretty legit. Shipping seems a little absurd.

After having a couple after market headlights, Depo and a pair from eBay, I will never again get anything other then oem or something like oss.

From the rings bulbs going out and being a pain to replace on Depo and eBay lights frying electrical systems I find it better to just fork out the extra cash.

**Just heard back from MARS and these DO NOT WORK for xenon equipped e90's. They ONLY work for halogen equipped cars. It sounds like they've been trying to get them to work for xenon cars but they're having too many issues and unable to get them to work properly. So just keep this in mind before purchasing these**
