best inlets for RHD
hi all,
car is nearly FBO now. just looking to get inlets and meth kit to finish off with the power mods( for now ) I know there's hundreds of threads on this topic but all seem to be over a year old. really liking the look of the MMP inlets but from what I read their only avalible for LHD cars. is this still the case? what's everyone else running? while I'm at it. what's the most preferred meth kit? aquamist or BMS? |

From what I've read RB inlets have the best fitment but are more expensive than other offerings.
I use the BMS Meth kit which uses Coolmist parts and the BMS controller but fitment & setup is very easy |

With RHD cars I think if you are considering changing the inlets you must also change the squashed & restrictive hotside to intercooler pipe as well in order to gain the full benefits

Inlets generally only useful if running aftermarket turbos, there are lots of reports of people with strange warbling sounds from their stock turbos after installing inlets.... Here is a sound clip of my engine after installing inlets
The solution was a BOV with an adjustable spring (like the Go fast bits SV50) so the vent atmos can be set just right and avoid the turbo flutter/warbling problem Took several weeks of frustrating experimentation, to find the solution |
