Anyone do or know anyone that does mobile walnut blasting on a diesel in socal? Took the manifold off to do some other work and noticed carbon buildup. Cleaning the manifold, egr, and throttle body now but looking for someone to walnut blast the head. I have a compressor but do not have the special wands needed for diesel. Eventually might buy the wands and walnut shells and do it myself but would like to see it done before I tackle it myself.

There is a shop in Hemet...countdown BMW motorwerkz. They do the whole job, plus swirl flap delete and vacuum lines for 500. That's your best option. I've looked everywhere and sent at least 2 dozen people from the diesel group there. Tell Dave that bobby from the BMW diesel group sent you. It's a steal.
