Is this valve located somewhere under the intake manifold? If so, I had to have mine replaced twice under warranty. I'll see what it says on the work order and let you know.
I'm also curious how he raised the idle speed as that's programmed into the ECU and as far as I know, can't be adjusted like in the old days. |

I remember a while back this EVAP entered into an extended warranty thread. A guy said this service at the dealership was over $1800, i.e. if he had gotten the extended warranty, it would have paid for a good portion of it.
Something like EVAP on a Japanese car is around $400, I don't understand the difference, or, maybe I do, but it's a joke. btw the valve on my Nissan is near the rear-left wheel. I thought that on the thread I remember the poster had a pic of his car on a lift and evap is also in the back. |
