We have about 10 sets of N55 cores that we'd like to sell outright if anyone is interested. These will make it to where you do not need to pay a core charge if you go with the VTT N55 solution. Their core charge is $1500+, we are looking to sell each of our core units for $750.

Let me know if interested,
Rob

Hi Rob,

There are many different part #'s for N55 cores. I may be interested in them depending on which #'s you have. Thanks

My understanding based on the units that I have is that they all look the same, so I do not think the part number should be a concern. Unless you know something I do not, I would not be concerned with that. Several have already sold, and a couple are pending payment. I think there are about 3-4 available assuming all I've been communicating with come through.

Thanks,
Rob

We have actually reshifted focus on the N55 in a very good way. We have got some parts delivered now which we are going to be converting to a N55 hybrid solution. This is something we will be working very hard on completing after the new year and plan to be completed by end of February. This will be a full Stage 2 N55 hybrid stock frame Journal Bearing offering that we are confident will be priced no more than the mid $2,xxx range (plus core). This is the price range we feel is appropriate for such an upgrade so now that we have the concept in mind are going to make it happen. It has been shown that modest gains can be had, which we always knew would exist, but not until recently have we found a way that it can be done to make the cost per $$ gain ratio work out correctly- to the point where we believe it would be a product worth selling.

Happy Holidays everyone,
Rob

Hi Rob
Finally! Do you think you can achieve nearly the same gains as Tony did. As always an estimation is enough. Furthermore: will the upgrade be as 'insvisible' as the one from VTT?

Its my thoughts that it will make very similar power, or enough power to max out housings anyway (which is where we believe they are at but only with a more than/unnecessarily capable compressor). Ultimately we are going to go with a slightly smaller compressor which we believe will help the spool somewhat, spool being important especially as we are retaining a Journal Bearing setup. If proven incorrect we can alter the size upward, but think this is the right approach initially. The turbine is nearly identical. Overall the wheel match set we are using is very good, so it should be a very solid performer. It will be using a billet GTX style custom wheel and upgraded thrust parts.

As for the invisible factor, we believe it will be actually a better stealth candidate as we have planned to use all OEM lines and no special adapters/etc.

Thanks,
Rob

Sounds good. Count me in. I planned to upgrade my Turbo in April '14. Do you think this is achievable? Do you still have a core available for sale or should I wait until you sell it together with the Upgrade (core charge?)
