I'd love a commo if they put a good engine in one. I think the chassis/handling/interior is fine and a Sportwagon would make a great car for the family and towing. You can pick them up for next to nothing after a few years. I don't care much for a lot of BMW's luxury features. I'd honestly prefer something a bit cheaper that I don't have to worry about the kids damaging. The engine choices make the commo a no deal though unfortunately. If they made a turbo version of the 3L V6, that'd probably do the trick for power delivery and fuel consumption.

Another tip, don't ever mention about speeding or "having a go" against another car on that forum though... As its littered with hundreds of road saints who will flame you alive... Lol And before buying this car I was cross shopping 335is with evo 10s, XR6Ts, F6s and HSVs... |

All they would hear is the distant sound of Wastegate rattle as your car pulls away

TBH I don't mind HSV's, regardless of the marque I despise the types who think they're better than everyone else...
Something I've learnt is no matter how fast you are, no matter how much power you make there's always someone out there faster and who makes more power |

Like for like, there's not much choice if you want a new large family car with plenty of power for less than 60k etc. It's like someone in a Rolls Royce saying BMWs are shit. End of Story. |

They break down all the time. Parts in Australia are rare. Aftermarket manufacturers think their parts are worth more simply because they fit a BMW. The dealerships are snobs and the drivers are hoons. Still beats a fat arse commodore with white wall tyres and king springs though. Last edited by Scotty89; 03-07-2016 at 06:34 AM.. |

My BMW has been very reliable albeit its required by far the most amou t of upkeep of any car I've owned yet weirdly has been the most rewarding car I've ever owned in terms of driver enjoyment and a plethora of available mods which yield great tangible results!

But in my defense its never let me down in almost 4 years of ownership (oh no hang on there was this one time when it did have to get towed once to the dealership after I 1st bought it as it wouldn't start, turned out to be a corroded earth strap bolt into the engine block) |
