BPC True N52 Burble / Overrun option

Hello all,

I know some of you guys have been waiting for this option for sometime. It's finally here (well kinda of) We are doing our last beta testing on the overrun function on the MSV70/80 and getting ready to release this option to new and old customers. This is recommended for customers that do not have any catalyst systems in place, yes off road use only. For pricing and more details please email Randall@bimmerperformancecenter.com

And for your enjoyment, Video link below

UPDATE:

Our Burble tune for 128i, 325i, 328i, 330i is now available
NOTE***Burble tune is only to be used with catless exhaust systems. If Burble tune is used with exhaust systems using catalytic converters, Burble tune may cause significant damage to catalytic converters.***

Those with our tune already, use the link below to order the update
https://bimmerperformancecenter.com/...ts/burble-tune

And if you are buying the tune for the first time, select the burble option.
https://bimmerperformancecenter.com/...i-n51-n52-tune

UPDATE: Im going to start work with e50 & e85 mixtures for the n52, see what kind of power we can net with "cheap" race gas

Damn, it's still the best sounding exhaust out-there.

Most want that sound from the newer N55/S55.

The Factory M4 GTS comes with exhaust overrun /burble

I think the video may not do it much justice...
I can recreate the pops if I tap the gas while I am decel...
I am sure it would sound sick going through my Remus setup!
We shall see..

The tune eliminates the need to tap the gas to make it pop, it will function just like an n54/n55 and pop on decel after you lift. The version we are showing in the video is the "extreme setting" and working on a tone down version.

The exhaust sounds amazing. But the popping and rasping is atrocious to me. Sounds like a honda fart can. Sorry.

Its the gas equivalent of rolling coal. No performance gain, and looks (sounds) cool to idiots. I can't fault BPC for giving the people what they want though.

Haha Noir.

So, just to be clear (I was going to wait for someone else to ask, but it still hasn't been explicitly stated here soo..), this provides zero performance benefit, correct? The ONLY thing it does is make the "cool" sound, right? I just wanted to make sure. And, does it actually decrease MPG (albeit probably not enough to be material)?

Hey, the sound is definitely cool if you're into that sort of thing. A little too "race car" like for my 200 WHP ride in my personal opinion, but it definitely doesn't sound bad, IMO, and plus... to each his own.

Cheers to BPM for having fun and making a cool product.

As I accidentally played the sound vid while sitting right next to my wife, she says what's that horrible sound? I then immediately know this tune is a big No No for me. I actually agree with her though. Never in a thousand years will I drive a BMW with sounds of HONDA rice pipes. Kudos to BPC for making anything possible on the N52's though.

Agreed. Why all the hate on Honda, anyway? Haven't these guys heard an E46 M3? About as raspy as it gets haha.

I doubt significant, but technically surely there would be some. I'm still wondering if the difference is material or not.
