Fuse box 06 e90 330i

Well story goes like this:

My cigarrette lighter was not working so i decided to take the cover out and check the fuse legend to see which one was the lighter fuse to see if it was blown.

When i remove that i actually did not see any legend at all. To my surprise i also see a lot of slots with fuses missing. Is this normal in bmws? or on e90s?

I stopped due rain and it has been hard for me to find a fuse diagram/ legend that matches my car.

Here im attaching a pic of how it looks..Could u guys let me know which one is the cig lighter one and if its normal that those spots have fuses missing?

thanks!

Raul

Should have a legend on the back of the cover you removed to gain access to the fuses.

should be Fuse F30 that controls the cig lighter and 12volt sockets.

In the bottom of that pictures, is that the back of the fuse box cover? On the front of the box that you remove should be a little folded up paper folded closed like an envelope with a fuse diagram and extra fuses.

only thing that i removed was the plastic cover ..behind it there was the hole with the fuses but no paper or nothing..that in the pic is just a paper that was in my glovecompartment at the time of the pic

Unused fuse sockets are normal. We cant tell unless we know what your car is optioned with and what market it was built for. Easiest way to solve the problem is if someone with a U.S. spec 2006 E90 can post a picture of their guide. Its probably posted you just have to search.

From what I see here, you're missing the flux capacitor fuse.

Here's a picture of my fuse's with a pic of the legend too. The cig lighyer is #30 which is the top right group of fuses and second row down. Its a yellow fuse on mine.

Hope this helps ya.

Oh, yeah, hieroglyphics.

Empty slots are normal. Just ensure that when you take one out you put it back in the right slot.

Also note, that little red fuse puller is about as useless as a sidesaddle on a hummingbird.
